A 24/7 AI News Network Built with Claude Code
Reddit user Icy_Upstairs_7328 reports that Claude Code helped them build PNN, a continuous AI news network running from three computers at home. After 28 days, the creator counted 2,180 commits, roughly 310,000 lines of code and more than 18,000 broadcast news segments, alongside a multiplayer 3D world built with Three.js. The creator says Claude Code also produced source-checking tools, load-testing software and project instructions, while reported AI writing costs were capped at about $12–$14 per day.
The self-reported project provides a detailed case study in using Claude Code to build and maintain a substantial production-like system, including continuous broadcasts, safeguards against unsupported numbers and a multiplayer 3D environment.
