Higgsfield says GPT-6 Astra lifts AI video from 1 minute to over 10
OpenAI published a customer story saying that after Higgsfield adopted GPT-6 Astra, the AI video platform's clips went from topping out at around one minute to more than 10 minutes. Higgsfield CEO and co-founder Alex Mashrabov said Astra lets its creative agents call external tools to handle complex work such as 3D modeling, which he says helps maintain consistency of characters, scenes and visual detail across longer videos. Higgsfield says its YouTube channel, with almost 500,000 subscribers, now produces instructional videos over 10 minutes long using the workflow, and that it has integrated GPT-Image-2.5 for rendering readable text and infographics and uses Codex to speed prototypes; next it plans to explore voice-to-video with GPT-Live-1. The duration and capability figures are vendor claims and were not independently measured in the reports.
It is one of the few detailed accounts of how GPT-6 Astra is being applied to the hard problem of keeping characters and scenes consistent across long AI-generated videos, though every figure comes from OpenAI and Higgsfield themselves.
Higgsfield AI(opens in a new window) is on a mission to make professional video and image creation accessible to anyone with an idea. Before GPT‑6 Astra, those videos topped out at around one minute. Now, says CEO and co-founder Alex Mashrabov, users can create videos over 10 minutes long.
Longer videos are just one way Higgsfield AI helps smaller creative teams take on more ambitious work. According to Alex, with models like GPT‑6 Astra and GPT‑Image‑2.5, it’s now possible for a single creator to execute high-end fashion campaigns from start to finish.
“What’s most important for us at Higgsfield is to see that smaller creative teams can actually be more successful now with the power of models like GPT-6 Astra and GPT-Image-2.5.”

Making longer videos possible with GPT‑6 Astra
Higgsfield AI’s creative agents take on repetitive production tasks, such as creating multiple variations of a shot. With GPT‑6 Astra, those agents can also call external tools to handle complex, manual work in 3D modeling. Alex says that capability helps address one of creative AI’s hardest problems: maintaining consistency across longer videos.
