Unitree H2-X loses a leg during flip demonstration
A video from Unitree Technology’s 2026 World Physical AI Conference shows the newly released H2-X humanoid robot losing balance while landing a side flip and detaching a mechanical lower leg. Unitree had not commented on the incident when the reports were published. Earlier promotional videos showed H2-X denting a car door, lifting a car, and flipping from a platform about 4 meters high; these were vendor demonstrations of a different occasion.
The reported failure provides a real-world counterpoint to Unitree’s promotional demonstrations of H2-X’s dynamic movements, while the cause and Unitree’s response remain unconfirmed.

画面中，一台白色人形机器人正在进行功夫动作演示，尝试侧空翻落地时失去平衡，侧摔在地，一条机械小腿从连接处脱落，掉落在一旁的黑色地垫上。据了解，发生意外的机器人为宇树科技10月21日刚刚发布的H2-X人形机器人，官方命名为“H2-X 功夫传奇 守护”。
此前，官方宣传视频展示了该机器人踢凹汽车车门、徒手抬起汽车，以及从约4米高台跃下完成空翻等动作，主要面向安保与应急救援场景，最长续航约8小时。截至目前，宇树科技未对此事进行说明。
