Anthropic may train models on commercial chats submitted as feedback
Anthropic says inputs and outputs from its commercial products, including Claude for Work and the Anthropic API, are not used to train its models by default. If users submit feedback or bugs through the thumbs up/down button or otherwise allow Anthropic to use their data, the company may use the related chats and coding sessions for model training.
The policy makes explicit feedback and other opt-ins exceptions to Anthropic’s default commercial-data training practice, giving enterprise and API users a concrete data-use condition to review.
