Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and S12+ debut with Galaxy AI and Dimensity 9500
Samsung showcased the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ at a Beijing media event on October 12, saying the two AI tablets go on sale in China from October 14. Both run a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500, and Samsung says the Ultra's NPU is up to 61% faster than the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra's, with CPU up 19% and GPU up 17%; features include a note assistant, meeting assistant, AI photo-based problem solving, Bixby voice chat, and a new Samsung DeX mode with up to four workspaces. Suggested WLAN pricing is from 10,499 yuan for the Ultra and 8,899 yuan for the Tab S12+, per Samsung.
It shows Samsung pushing Galaxy AI plus desktop-like DeX multitasking on large-screen tablets, a modest data point on how on-device AI productivity is being packaged.

长期以来，三星Galaxy Tab平板电脑都以沉浸大屏为体验核心。此次新品进一步强化了轻薄设计下的显示体验，兼顾了方便携带与呈现更多信息和画面细节。其中，三星Galaxy Tab S12+屏幕尺寸升级至12.6英寸，配合纤窄的边框，以超轻薄的5.3毫米机身呈现更广阔的显示空间。三星Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra则具备14.6英寸大屏与薄至5.1毫米的机身，屏幕更大且机身更为纤薄。
