Flahy taps knowledge graphs to power AI clinical decision support
Healthcare technology company Flahy is applying knowledge graphs to clinical decision support. Founder and CEO Jagjit Singh said in a theCUBE + NYSE Wired: AI Luminaries interview that the knowledge layer connects the data layer to the model layer, telling the model which facts matter and what a given data point implies, and said his team spent years building a graph-based information database and training models to recognize relationships among data points. The company says it works with graph technology vendors including Neo4j, and that its consumer offering, FlahyLife, combines biological and health information to guide prevention, early detection and treatment selection; Singh added that Flahy is working with clinical laboratories and health systems to deploy the platform. No accuracy, performance or deployment-scale figures were disclosed.
Using knowledge graphs as a reasoning layer between data and models is a common path for making healthcare AI more explainable and clinically usable, though real-world results still need independent validation.
