Cloudflare launches Clairic extraction model preview
Cloudflare launched Clairic in preview on Workers AI, a System One-style model designed to extract specified values from unstructured documents in a single pass, with confidence scores and null values for missing fields. Cloudflare says it can also perform simple calculations, estimates, and forecasts, while open weights are planned for a later release. In a Cloudflare-published customer-service test, the full Clairic-Clef-GLM-5.3 chain took 19.3 seconds, compared with 61.7 seconds for GLM-5.3 alone.
Clairic offers developers a specialized alternative to general-purpose LLMs for document extraction and agent workflows, though its performance figures remain Cloudflare claims and the model is not yet reliable for longer calculation chains.
