Purple Mountain Lab launches AXP agent interconnection platform
At the 10th Future Network Development Conference in Nanjing on October 16, Purple Mountain Laboratory, together with China Mobile, Jiangsu Future Network Group and the Jiangsu Future Network Innovation Institute, released AXP, described as the industry's first agent interconnection platform built on deterministic networking. According to the lab, AXP supports one million registered agents and 100,000 agents running concurrently, offers second-level fault detection and switching plus 100-millisecond semantic addressing, and has completed cross-domain addressing over more than 4,000 km via the CENI test facility while cutting end-to-end task execution time by over 20%. The partners say they have begun multi-scenario agent testing and industrialization trials with telecom carriers, network equipment makers and a large steel manufacturer.
If deployments match the claimed scale, network-layer infrastructure like this could provide a common access and scheduling foundation for cross-domain, heterogeneous agent collaboration.
