IDC Brings Quanta Intelligence to Claude and Expands Internal Use
IDC Research and Anthropic have made IDC Quanta available to IDC customers through Claude, including an MCP connector that returns analysis based on IDC forecasts, market data, and research. IDC also reports daily internal use of Claude across engineering, product, planning, sales, and marketing, with several efficiency claims supplied by IDC.
The integration gives Claude access to a specialized enterprise intelligence source while providing a concrete case study in Anthropic’s enterprise adoption.

IDC Quanta gives customers access to IDC’s trusted and validated forecasts, market data, research, and more, and now, they can ask questions in Claude to get answers enriched with IDC’s insights in minutes. IDC has also rolled Claude out across the company, where teams use it every day.
Applying market research has traditionally meant reading through long reports to get to the answers a customer needs, such as a vendor shortlist or a competitive brief. Now, an IDC customer describes the market, strategy, or purchase they're working on, and the IDC Quanta MCP connector for Claude returns finished analysis built on IDC's trusted forecasts and data.
