Apple Unveils New iPad mini With A20 Pro Chip
Apple unveiled a new iPad mini with a larger 8.5-inch OLED display, an A20 Pro chip, Wi-Fi 7 and a starting price of $699. The tablet is 5.4 millimeters thick and weighs 255 grams. Apple says the A20 Pro provides up to 60% faster multitasking and 4.5 times faster AI performance and is built to run Siri AI. Other additions include “Acoustic Display” speakers, a landscape front camera and an optional $100 nano-texture coating designed to reduce glare.
Apple describes the compact tablet as its biggest iPad mini update yet. Its A20 Pro hardware is built for Siri AI, while the reported multitasking and AI performance gains remain Apple’s claims.
