Unitree outlines physical AI roadmap and launches global competition
Unitree Technology CEO Wang Xingxing outlined three strategic directions at the 2026 World Physical AI Conference in Hangzhou: expanding large-scale robot manufacturing, developing physical AI small models tailored to its hardware, and building a super-scale computing cluster. The company is also constructing a robot self-evolution system combining AI autonomous development, simulation, real-world testing, and feedback iteration. Wang announced the World Physical AI Competition, which Unitree says will provide tens of millions of yuan in annual prizes and feature eight tracks open to global teams and individuals.
The announcement combines Unitree’s physical AI development roadmap with a new international competition spanning eight application tracks, while the manufacturing and compute targets remain company statements.

王兴兴在会上官宣世界物理 AI 大赛。该赛事每年投入数千万元人民币奖金，面向全球团队与个人开放，设置任意移动、田径、格斗、灵巧操作、生产、体育赛事、多模态交互、康养八大赛道，旨在凝聚全球创新力量，推动物理 AI 技术边界持续突破。
