Lite-On and Delta Advance 800VDC AI Data-Center Power Systems
At the Open Compute Project Global Summit, Lite-On said its 800VDC power-cabinet design had completed development and entered system validation, with mass production planned for the third quarter of 2027. Delta Electronics expects limited shipments of related 800VDC solutions by the end of 2026 and substantial volume in 2027, while both companies showcased liquid-cooled power and conversion systems. TechNews also cited Gartner estimates and Goldman Sachs market projections, while noting technical, supply-chain and patent risks.
The report documents concrete supplier milestones for higher-voltage direct-current power systems designed to address AI data-center power constraints, although broader market forecasts remain attributed claims.
