ASE Technology posts record September and Q3 revenue, citing AI advanced packaging
Semiconductor packaging and testing giant ASE Technology Holding reported September consolidated revenue of NT$88.13 billion, up 7.2% month over month and 45.5% year over year, with third-quarter revenue also reaching a record high. The report attributes the growth largely to AI-related advanced packaging and testing demand.
Advanced packaging and testing are key links in the AI chip supply chain, so ASE's revenue trend offers one read on the strength of AI hardware demand.
半導體封測大廠日月光投控下午公布 9 月自結合併營收新台幣 881.3 億元，月增 7.2%、年增 45.5%，連三個月創單月新高；第三季自結營收 2,441.61 億元，季增 27.8%、年增 44.8%，創單季新高；前九月累計營收 6,088.87 億元，年增 30.25%，續創同期新高。
日月光投控9月封裝測試及材料自結營收526.74億元，月增2.7%、年增50.5%；第三季封測及材料營收1,514.85億元，季增20.1%，大幅年增50.1%。日月光投控7月底法人說明會評估，第三季合併營收季成長21%~22%，封測事業第三季營收季增11%至13%，結果均優於預期。
