Li Auto announced six upgrades for the 2026 Li i6 on October 10, covering ADB matrix headlights with adaptive masking, an electric front trunk, dual zero-gravity front seats and a reclining rear "queen" seat, a 29-inch 6K panoramic front display and a 21-inch 4K rear entertainment screen. For intelligence it lists a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 cockpit chip plus Li Auto's in-house Mach M100 assisted-driving chip, which the company says delivers 1,280 TOPS; the 96 kWh in-house battery is rated at 780 km of range with 5C fast charging. Static displays open at 485 stores on October 11, the official launch and test drives are set for October 28, and deliveries are expected in early November.
It marks a public deployment of Li Auto's in-house assisted-driving chip, showing how carmakers are pitching AI compute as a core selling point.
