Lingguang 2.0 Hands-On Test Shows Personal AI Assistant Limits
Ant Group released Lingguang 2.0 on October 27, repositioning the product as a personal AI assistant connected to services including Alipay, DingTalk, Feishu and Mi Home. GeekPark's two-day hands-on test found that it could identify recurring charges, read DingTalk chats and create Feishu documents, but its own safety policy blocked message sending, Taobao anti-scraping controls prevented cart access, and a Luckin Coffee order stopped at an Alipay confirmation link.
The test shows that personal AI assistants in China's concentrated app ecosystem are constrained more by cross-platform permissions, payment access and responsibility allocation than by inference capability.
