   China’s Robot Multi-Brand Stores Draw Crowds but Struggle to Convert Sales

   AIX财经, published by TMTPost, reports that China’s robot multi-brand stores have expanded to more than 20 outlets with signed coverage across 23 cities since the first robot 6S store opened in Shenzhen’s Longgang district. Field visits found that humanoid robot performances attract visitors, while relatively affordable companion and educational products sell more readily; rental, customization, study tours and paid visits supplement sales. The report says many outlets rely on traffic, industrial matchmaking or large government and enterprise orders because routine retail, rental and study-tour revenue generally covers operating costs only.
