   Spotify plans paid AI remix service for early 2027

   Spotify is reportedly preparing a paid generative AI tool that lets fans remix authorized songs or create imagined cross-artist performances, with an early 2027 launch targeted. The Financial Times, as reported by The Next Web, says the price could add $4–$5 per month to Premium and that a February unveiling around the Grammys is possible, but neither timing nor pricing is final. Artists must individually opt in, while Spotify reportedly plans royalty sharing, chart credit for the original songs and possible playlist inclusion.
