    Arm has published an assessment, conducted by Signal65 with Arm's cooperation, reporting that its AGI CPU averaged 1.99x the modelled rack-level performance of AMD's EPYC 9755 across seven agentic AI workloads, with individual results ranging from 1.43x to 3.19x. The rack figure derives partly from a rated-power density model in which a 24 kW rack holds 21 to 23 Arm servers versus 13 dual-socket EPYC 9755 systems, while at the chip level Arm averaged only about a 20% lead and trailed on MySQL and Milvus. Signal65 remotely observed the runs and reproduced the calculations, but did not perform an independent hardware rerun, and Arm acknowledged that testing on final production hardware is still outstanding.

  3. AWS brings Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to China regions

    Amazon Web Services said Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, its fully managed platform for deploying and operating AI agents, is now generally available in the China (Beijing) region operated by Sinnet and the China (Ningxia) region operated by NWCD. It ships with six capabilities: a serverless microVM-based Runtime with up to eight hours of runtime support, Gateway, Identity, Browser Tools, Code Interpreter and Observability. The report cites customers including Ericsson, Sony and Cox Automotive, which it says moved 17 enterprise agent solutions into production in under a year.
