   Rivian licenses AI voice-assistant technology to Volkswagen

   Rivian is licensing elements of its in-house AI voice-assistant technology to Volkswagen Group through their $5.8 billion joint venture, according to the company’s third-quarter investor presentation reported by TechCrunch. Rivian did not disclose licensing fees, payment terms or which Volkswagen vehicles will use the technology. The assistant could make its Volkswagen debut in the ID EVERY1, which is slated to be the first Volkswagen vehicle to use Rivian’s software and electrical architecture under the joint venture.
