   ASE raises 2026 LEAP revenue forecast above $4 billion

   ASE Technology Holding raised its 2026 LEAP revenue forecast from $3.7 billion to more than $4 billion, citing higher advanced-packaging demand and new CPO projects. It maintained its outlook for LEAP revenue to double in 2027. The company forecasts CoWoS full-process revenue of $300 million in 2026 and more than $1 billion in 2027, while CPO entered mass production in the fourth quarter of 2026. ASE also increased its 2026 capital-expenditure budget by $1 billion to $11.5 billion, split roughly evenly between factory construction and equipment. These figures are company forecasts, and factory-space constraints are expected to limit delivery capacity.

   VPEC Reports Record Q3 EPS on AI-Driven Silicon Photonics Demand

   VPEC reported third-quarter revenue of NT$1.562 billion, up 28% sequentially and 183% year over year, while EPS reached a quarterly record of NT$6.12. TechNews reported that gross margin reached 58.56% and operating profit rose to NT$771 million as silicon-photonics shipments increased amid AI data-center demand. The company also said 1.6T silicon-photonics products had entered mass production.
