- Google Clarifies K-12 AI Controls After School Search Backlash
Google said K-12 administrators can enable Gemini, Gemini Notebook and Google Search individually, with the services off by default under a policy expected early next year. The company also launched Guided Learning in Google Classroom globally and plans a later U.S. Search pilot, but schools seeking Search cannot exclude its integrated AI features, leaving a central concern unresolved.
