   Kaiming He's VISTA harness lets Claude Opus 5 hit 100 on ARC-AGI-3

   Kaiming He's team posted VISTA on arXiv: it shows ARC-AGI-3 games to models as images instead of the official 64×64 number grid, and adds a lossless visual-memory "album" the model can inspect at will, deciding which frame to revisit or zoom into. The paper reports the same Claude Opus 5 rising from 40 under the official standard setup to 100 across all 183 levels of 25 public games, with GPT-5.6 Sol at 99, both using fewer steps than first-time humans. No new model is trained and every game gets the same four-sentence prompt; the team calls it the first program-free system to reach full or near-full marks on ARC-AGI-3.
