   Nvidia Vera CPU challenges AMD and Intel in data-center benchmarks

   Tom’s Hardware found Nvidia’s standalone Vera data-center CPU delivered chart-topping Python performance and strong socket- and system-level memory bandwidth, aided by its C2C interconnect. Vera also matched or beat comparable AMD Turin and Intel Granite Rapids-AP chips in several general-purpose server workloads, though x86 processors retained an advantage in core density and some frontend tasks. The results indicate competitiveness for AI-adjacent workloads, but no standardized end-to-end agentic CPU benchmarks yet exist.
