   Musk: Grok Bot will route tasks to Claude Opus 5.5, Midjourney and Suno

   Elon Musk said on X that SpaceXAI's always-on agent app Grok Bot will now "use the best back end model for any given task," including Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 plus Midjourney, Suno and other leading third-party APIs, rather than relying only on its own Grok models. He did not say which tasks would go to which outside model. The change follows user reports of trouble reaching Grok on mobile and web the previous day, and comes as Grok Bot competes with Meta's Muse and OpenAI's ChatGPT Dot.

   Meta brings its Muse AI agent to iPad as installs top 6.6 million

   Meta announced on October 7 that its Muse assistant now has a dedicated iPad app, roughly a month after launching on iOS and Android on September 8. Installations have surpassed 6.6 million, according to estimates from market intelligence firm Sensor Tower. The update also adds small-business connectors such as Asana, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, QuickBooks, GitHub, Klaviyo, Zoom and Meta ad accounts, plus everyday connectors including Notion and Granola.
