Google rolls out sparkling Gemini overlay animation on Android

Google is rolling out a redesigned Gemini overlay animation through an update to its Google app for Android devices, according to Android Authority. The animation applies Google’s Neural Expressive design language with sparkling effects and small dots around the “Ask Gemini” box, which also gains shaded edges that are more pronounced in dark mode. Users can update the Google app from the Play Store and force-stop it if the effect does not appear immediately.
