   Samsung details Galaxy S27 and foldable plans amid 2027 shipment warning

   Samsung said it plans to give each model in the Galaxy S27 series a more distinct identity, with emphasis on battery life, processor performance, privacy displays, thinner foldables and richer Galaxy AI experiences that interpret user context and intent. The company also expects fewer smartphone shipments in 2027, particularly in entry-level and mid-range segments, as higher memory and component costs raise device prices, while its mobile division posted a second consecutive quarterly operating loss. Samsung is researching Glass, TriFold and other form factors for 2027 and is also planning holiday smart glasses associated with Android XR specifications.

   Samsung Galaxy AI adds more languages, including eight for Nudge

   Samsung recently said several Galaxy AI features gained broader language support: Call Assist, Note Assist, Interpreter and Transcript Assist added Hungarian and Malay, while Nudge picked up eight languages — Dutch, Filipino, Gujarati, Hungarian, Malay, Romanian, Swedish and Turkish. According to Samsung, most features under the Galaxy AI umbrella now support 24 languages in total, and Bixby added Thai, Polish and Vietnamese to reach 12. Samsung says the added languages will not be available immediately, with support rolling out to more regions “in the coming weeks,” though no firm timing was given.
