   Factory and Databricks partner to build software powered by enterprise data

   Factory announced on October 19 a partnership with Databricks so customers can use data and models in the Databricks Data + AI Platform to power software built or migrated by Factory. Factory said the two companies are helping one large global enterprise move a data platform that powers hundreds of business applications to Databricks, involving petabytes of data and hundreds of thousands of tables, and are folding the migration into a single engineering workflow of agents and automation. The partnership covers three use-case categories—product development lifecycle automation, migration and modernization, and cybersecurity—and Factory said qualifying customers can buy it through the Databricks Marketplace using up to 10% of their existing Databricks commitment.
