- Baidu Netdisk iOS reportedly detects shake ads via magnetometer data
A developer’s AI-assisted analysis found a NoShake variant in Baidu Netdisk iOS that uses Core Location’s CLHeading to obtain device orientation instead of relying on conventional CoreMotion motion detection. cnBeta reported that the app could still open shake-triggered ads after motion and fitness access was disabled, although the analysis did not capture a live ad response or establish the parameters used online.
