   Gen Digital details Norton Revamp’s AWS-powered AI news engine

   AWS Machine Learning Blog says Gen Digital launched Norton Revamp in March 2026, a generative AI platform for professional reputation management built by a small engineering team. Its News Engine uses Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Web Search to ground content suggestions, goal recommendations, and personalized feeds in current web results with source URLs and publication dates. Gen Digital and AWS say the managed service reduced infrastructure overhead and data-egress risk, while the platform also uses Amazon Nova Lite, Claude, Stability AI, and Amazon Bedrock.

   AWS details AAIF, an agent framework routing routine tasks to local small models

   An AWS Machine Learning Blog post walks through the Adaptive Agentic Intelligence Framework (AAIF), built with Strands Agents, which uses a 1B-parameter llama3.2 orchestrator running locally through Ollama to classify incoming requests. Routine tasks such as device telemetry retrieval and camera-feed analysis stay on local small models, while complex analysis is sent to cloud frontier models through Amazon Bedrock. The post says the pattern builds on a research position from Belcak et al. at NVIDIA arguing small language models are sufficiently powerful and more economical for many agentic invocations, and uses an IoT monitoring scenario as its reference implementation.
