   OpenEvidence and Johns Hopkins Medicine partner on AI for medical training and care

   OpenEvidence and Johns Hopkins Medicine announced a strategic collaboration on Oct. 13 to design new approaches to medical education and clinical care in the age of AI. The partnership has two goals: redesigning physician training for an AI-enabled environment, and building AI systems that connect medical research, patient histories and Johns Hopkins' clinical practices to support care decisions. Johns Hopkins said adaptive AI could eventually offer personalized instruction, identify gaps in clinical experience and help assess competency rather than relying mainly on time spent in training, while the specific clinical capabilities remain under development. OpenEvidence did not disclose commercial terms; CEO Daniel Nadler described the effort as at least a research, development and product collaboration.
