   LINE to build no-code AI agent platform into Official Accounts, launch Q1 2027

   At its annual press event, LINE announced a no-code AI agent development platform built into the LINE Official Account backend, letting merchants create their own business agents through natural-language conversation. It will initially offer three agent roles — booking, sales and customer service — with templates that can connect to a store's POS, CRM, membership and scheduling systems. LINE said brand partners are running proofs of concept now, with an official launch planned for the first quarter of 2027 and no pricing announced yet. Third-party integrations open first to LINE technology partners, with MCP protocol support planned and A2A protocol under evaluation so different agents can communicate later; LINE said its 3.6 million Official Accounts and conversation data hosted in its private cloud infrastructure in Japan underpin the effort.

   Go agent framework covonaut v1.1.5 released with checkpoint and token fixes

   covonaut is a production-grade agent framework for Go, offering a full LLM-tool loop, context compression, retries and failover, lifecycle hooks, distributed tracing, and built-in filesystem, shell, browser and code-execution tools, along with support for protocols such as MCP, A2A, ACP and AG-UI. Release v1.1.5 changes 121 files, with the main improvements covering preservation of tool checkpoints when context is cancelled or a tool is interrupted, plus adjustments to token usage and caching. The source does not provide a release date, repository link or full changelog.
