Uber与Pony.ai将在伦敦测试无人驾驶出租车
据 TechCrunch 报道，Pony.ai 与 Uber 计划在未来几周内在伦敦测试 Pony.ai 的第七代（Gen-7）无人驾驶出租车，为后续通过 Uber 平台提供服务做准备。Pony.ai 在 X 上表示，将与当地官员及合作伙伴推进在英国“前沿计划”下开展自动驾驶车辆试运营，但未公布车辆数量和商业运营时间。双方此前已在克罗地亚萨格勒布上线带安全员的无人驾驶出租车服务，并计划向欧洲投放逾 2000 辆中国无人驾驶出租车；伦敦服务预计沿用由合作方持有并运营车队的模式。
这是中国自动驾驶公司首次把无人驾驶出租车测试带到伦敦，也进一步扩大 Uber 在欧洲的自动驾驶合作版图。
Pony.ai will start testing its seventh-generation robotaxis in London in the coming weeks, ahead of a service on Uber. The Chinese self-driving company announced the plan on X on Thursday.
“We look forward to working with local officials, and our partners, as plans progress to begin trials for self-driving vehicles under the UK’s frontier plan,” Pony.ai said.
The two companies have not said who will own and run the London fleet, TechCrunch reported. Pony.ai’s post gives no number of cars and no date for a commercial launch.
