Bedrock Robotics raises $600M for autonomous excavators
Bedrock Robotics raised a $600 million Series C at a $4.1 billion valuation, bringing its total funding to nearly $1 billion since its 2024 founding, The Rundown AI reported, citing Bloomberg. The startup installs autonomy kits on excavators for earthmoving with an empty cab and has performed paid work at live sites in Nevada and Texas and on a project with Zachry. Bedrock says it is expanding across the United States and targeting more complex tasks, larger machines and coordinated autonomous fleets.
The funding is a major milestone for autonomous construction machinery, with reported paid deployments and plans to handle larger equipment and coordinated fleets.
