SWI Compute Launches UK Nvidia AI Factory Campus
SWI Group has launched SWI Compute to build and operate Nvidia AI factories in Europe, with about $1 billion of Nvidia systems ordered, according to The Next Web. Its first UK factory is planned to begin at 30MW with nearly 7,000 Rubin GPUs and 3,500 Vera CPUs in Vera Rubin NVL72 racks, and is due online by the end of 2027. SWI plans to expand the campus to 530MW, while the initial deployment uses Nvidia Blackwell Ultra systems.
The reported launch combines a major Nvidia system procurement, a 30MW initial UK deployment and a 530MW expansion plan, making it a significant European AI-infrastructure development.
