Tessl publishes walkthrough for adding agentic code review to repos
Tessl developer relations lead Simon Maple published an October 18 tutorial showing how to add Tessl Code Review to a repository in roughly five minutes. The steps cover signing up for a free account, installing the GitHub App and granting repo access, turning on code review in the Reviewer page, and choosing what the reviewer may do with its findings. Tessl says the tool reads the whole pull request rather than the diff in isolation, scores it against team-defined standards and posts one review, with modes ranging from comment-only to approve or request changes, plus auto-approve once all its threads are resolved. Those capability claims come from the vendor itself.
Tessl argues coding agents now ship code faster than humans can meaningfully read it, which is why it is pitching repository-owned review standards as the basis for automated review.
