RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti prices rise in China amid tighter GDDR7 supply
NVIDIA partners and retailers in China raised prices for the GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB, according to Wccftech. Board Channels reported that the RTX 5080 16 GB moved from roughly 12,700–13,500 RMB to 14,500–15,000 RMB, while the RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB rose from about 9,000–9,150 RMB to 9,650–9,850 RMB. Wccftech attributed the increases to tighter GDDR7 supply as memory manufacturers prioritize higher-margin HBM for AI markets.
The increases show how AI-related HBM demand is affecting GDDR7 availability and consumer GPU pricing in China, though the figures come from one outlet citing market channels.
