Kuaishou's Kling 4.0 goes fully live with 30-second native clips
Kling AI, Kuaishou's video-generation unit, said on the night of Oct 15 that its new Kling 4.0 model is fully live on klingai.com, with single-pass native generation of up to 30 seconds, support for long takes and continuous narrative, and a text input limit raised to 8,000 tokens. The model outputs up to 10-bit HDR in 4K, 1080p and 21:9 ultrawide, and the company says stability and continuity improved for high-speed motion and complex camera moves such as tracking and orbiting shots; lip-sync, multilingual and dialect support, and text/logo generation were also upgraded. A single task can combine up to 10 images, 5 videos and 7 subjects (15 reference items total) plus up to 10 keyframes, with video extension reaching up to 2 minutes, and Kling 4.0 now integrates with MCP and CLI ahead of an enterprise/developer API. Kling says it has reached more than 100 million users across 224 countries and territories and over 50,000 enterprise customers, with annual revenue around $500 million — all company-provided figures.
AI video is moving from short dramas and ads into professional film pipelines, and longer native clips plus HDR and keyframe control push the tools toward production-grade delivery — the story Kling is telling ahead of a reported Hong Kong listing.
