covo-agent v1.1.0 adds cyber mode with autonomous recon
The open-source terminal AI agent covo-agent, written in Go, released v1.1.0 with a new cyber security mode that supports autonomous reconnaissance and verification plus evidence retention, according to a report. The tool previously offered general and code modes covering everyday knowledge work and software development. Its architecture includes an interactive TUI, a tool system, memory, Skills, safety controls, and extensible integrations such as MCP, ACP, LSP, plugins and messaging gateways.
It shows terminal-native agents expanding into specialized security work, offering a lightweight option for automation that needs traceable evidence.
