Chainalysis data shows agentic commerce transactions on Coinbase's Base network grew from roughly 1,500 in Q2 2025 to more than 138 million in Q3 2026, according to Fortune. More than 87% of those payments were for less than 10 cents. Fortune described agentic commerce as the use of AI agents to carry out internet transactions and said the field is rapidly maturing, with crypto fueling the boom.
