Huxiu opens Q3 AI hardware ranking with a 30-day real-use test
Huxiu has opened entries for its 2026 Q3 "Upward and New AI Hardware Product Power List," extending its review period to 30 days of real use and asking whether users still actively use a device on day 30 and whether it changed their habits. Recapping its Q2 test of 40 AI hardware products, the article says Oura Ring offers rich health data but requires an overseas app, a foreign-currency card and an ongoing membership; NIMO smart glasses are most used for notifications, navigation and teleprompting while live translation suffers from ambient noise; YoooClaw C·ONE saves roughly one to two hours per meeting transcription task but suffers Bluetooth drops, heat, mis-taps and subscription fees; and Pocket 4 earned praise for portability yet was still predicted to sit unused. The list covers six categories — wearables, AI companions, smart office, on-device agents, smart home and smart imaging — with five award types, and Q3 entries feed into an annual pool.
