Acer Swift Spin 14 AI review: over 16 hours of battery at $1,499
The Acer Swift Spin 14 AI is a 14-inch 2-in-1 convertible sold in a single configuration: Qualcomm's Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E78100 (12 cores, 80 TOPS NPU), integrated Adreno graphics, 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD, priced at $1,499.99 / £1,399 in the US and UK. TechRadar's review highlighted a 16-hour-11-minute web-browsing battery result, a smooth 360-degree hinge, a sharp 1920x1200 120Hz touchscreen and better-than-expected integrated-graphics gaming (Far Cry 6 at roughly 25 fps), while calling the audio thin and the price steep for an Acer. It ships with Copilot plus Acer apps such as LiveArt, Purified View/Voice and AcerSense, some of which require downloading Acer's Quick Panel first.
It shows that at around $1,500, Arm-based Windows laptops now treat an 80 TOPS NPU and long battery life as standard, though the practical value of on-device AI features for typical users is still unproven.
