AI Comic-Drama Production Prices Fall 96% Amid Market Growth
36氪, citing 铅笔道, interviews and industry data, reports that some AI comic-drama production quotes fell from about RMB 5,000 per minute to RMB 200 or even tens of yuan, while September brought 51,800 new AI dramas and comic dramas to Douyin with more than 200 billion additional plays. Supply growth has coincided with concentrated traffic and unpredictable payouts: DataEye found that about 82% of September releases received fewer than one million plays, while some producers reported only RMB 1–2 per 10,000 plays. In contrast, Duiba disclosed RMB 223 million in first-half AI short-drama revenue, representing 51.2% of group revenue, and said its business had been profitable for three consecutive months based on unaudited internal accounts.
The report documents a sharp divide between commoditized AI production and companies that combine content creation with distribution, highlighting how AI can increase output without ensuring equal traffic, revenue, or profitability.

今年以来，做剧的人却越来越多，部分AI漫剧制作报价从5000元一分钟，跌到200元，甚至几十元。价格跌了96%。
“你花100块钱做出来的剧，人家1块钱来回收，那你亏99块。”陈远航说。
在他看来，平台掌握用户和流量，制作公司忙着出片，最后却可能连成本都收不回来。
但另一边，已经有人赚到了钱。
