Jetour Traveler 7 to launch Oct 14 with Snapdragon 8255 AI cockpit
Chery's Jetour brand says its new Traveler 7 SUV will go on sale on October 14 with upgraded smart-cabin technology; pre-sales opened September 23 across seven trims at 149,900–179,900 yuan. The cabin features the TOUROS 3.3 AI cockpit, a Snapdragon 8255 cockpit chip, 24GB RAM plus 256GB storage, a 15.6-inch 2.5K center screen, and an embedded iFlytek Spark AI model. Driver assistance uses the Falcon 500 system built on Horizon Robotics' Journey 6M chip with 128 TOPS, which the company describes as an end-to-end large model; powertrains include 1.5T and 2.0T gasoline plus a 1.5T plug-in hybrid, with XWD intelligent all-wheel drive standard.
AI cockpits and in-car large models are becoming standard selling points for mid-priced Chinese vehicles, yet their real-world performance still lacks independent verification.
