   Kiro Crew open-source persistent development workspace

   According to its project documentation, Kiro Crew is an open-source development workspace that can run locally or remotely on user hardware, preserving state across sessions through a Gateway layer that separates agent execution from the interface. Users can access it through a desktop app, web dashboard, CLI, or messaging channels such as Slack, Discord, Telegram and Teams. The project says multi-step tasks can run unattended, recurring jobs can follow user-defined schedules, and heartbeats can monitor systems for attention. The default agent runs on kiro-cli, which must be installed and authenticated separately. The project provides Stable, Insider and Nightly release channels and a public multi-architecture GHCR Docker image for always-on servers.
