   Nanjing medical world model forum unveils six releases

   On the afternoon of October 19, 2026, a medical-health world model session of the 2026 Physical AI and World Model Conference was held at the Nanjing International Expo Center, focused on disease-state evolution, intervention-response simulation, medical knowledge modeling and healthcare data security. The session announced six sets of results: a joint plan to build high-quality medical world model datasets, a medical-health world model appliance, five chronic-disease world models released by Jiangsu Province Hospital with Nanjing Trusted Data Services, a thalassemia screening world model, a medical world model data foundation, and applied products from Neusoft and Nanjing Hanwei. The report also states that these results still need external validation, clinical evaluation and ongoing regulatory oversight, and that model simulation cannot replace doctors' clinical decisions.
