   Unitree Details Self-Evolving Physical-AI Roadmap and Global Contest

   Unitree founder Wang Xingxing said the company is pre-researching a “self-evolution V1.0” physical-AI large model and smaller models tailored to its robots, while also describing an automated loop for research, coding, simulation, real-world testing and feedback. The Next Web reports that the system, called Unitree Rehearsal, is aimed at reducing manual engineering work, but 36Kr notes that the framework remains in pre-research and has not been demonstrated as a shipped self-evolving model. Conference organizers also announced the World Physical AI Competition, with eight task tracks and annual prize money in the tens of millions of yuan.
