  1. Musk says SpaceX will make users whole if Grok Bot errs or leaks cards

Elon Musk advised X users to photograph their credit card, drop it in the chat and let Grok Bot find the best deal and order it — then promised that if the agent botches a purchase or leaks a card, “SpaceX will make you whole.” He did not say what that pledge covers, and SpaceX did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment. According to the report, the terms of service of Musk's AI company (referred to in the piece as the renamed SpaceXSI) let it store user data and credentials in its cloud, require human review of financial transactions, and state that it is “not responsible for User Content or Agentic Actions.” Grok Bot has no free tier and starts with the $30-a-month Premium tier of The X Subscription, launched on 12 October; Musk also posted that it bought him five Lego Star Wars sets for $241.34, while one user said his Grok Bot email, delivery address and order number had leaked.

  2. Hands-on: Grok Bot fumbles flight booking; bundled X subscription is the draw

A Chinese hands-on review says Grok Bot, the "AI employee" Elon Musk has been promoting in a flurry of X posts, failed a simple task: planning a Nov 13 Guangzhou–Wenzhou round trip for a wedding and comparing flight prices across platforms. It first suggested an early flight requiring a 4 a.m. wake-up, then pushed to book without completing the price comparison, having only retrieved a "from 600 yuan" quote on Tongcheng while Ctrip, Qunar, Fliggy and airline sites were unreadable. The reviewer notes Grok Bot cannot control other phone apps and works through a persistent cloud computer on the web, needing user login and authorization, making it similar to existing browser-controlling Computer Use agents; the real draw, the article says, is the $30/month The X Subscription bundling Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X membership with shared AI quotas.

  3. xAI bundles Grok, Cursor and X Premium into The X Subscription

xAI (also referred to in coverage as SpaceXSI / SpaceX Super Intelligence) launched The X Subscription, bundling Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium into one plan across five tiers: Free, Plus ($8/month), Premium ($30/month), Super ($100/month) and Ultra ($200/month). The company says each comparable tier delivers more usage per dollar than the plan it replaces, with Grok and Cursor drawing on a single weekly-refreshing usage pool; Premium and above add Grok Bot, and paid tiers include at least twice the coding usage on xAI models as the equivalent Cursor plan. Existing SuperGrok, Cursor and X Premium subscribers can keep their current plan or switch with a prorated refund; team plans add SSO, admin controls, consolidated billing and SOC 2 compliance, enterprises can manage Grok and Cursor from one dashboard, and third-party models remain available in Cursor at API list prices billed separately. The plan is available to new customers now and is rolling out globally over the next few days.
