   Dimensional Pays $20 an Hour to Walk Robot Dogs for AI Data

   Dimensional recruited people in San Francisco to guide RoboFido, a Unitree robot dog, for four to six hours per shift at $20 an hour, according to reports citing The New York Times. Workers controlled the robot while its cameras and sensors recorded its surroundings and movement as ground-truth data for improving autonomous navigation. Founder Stash Pomichter said Dimensional was also developing an open-source robot operating system for integrating AI agents with more than 100 robot dogs and 50 humanoid robots the company had purchased.
