Krea has launched Krea 3, an image-editing model that changes a photo or a set of reference images based on written prompts, now in beta. Krea claims end-to-end 2K edits in under 8 seconds and quality matching Nano Banana Pro or GPT Image 2.5; those speed and comparison claims have not been independently verified. The model supports region edits, bounding-box control and up to six reference images. Krea says it can be fine-tuned with LoRAs on a specific product, person or style and calls it the first editing model to do so; the first-editing-model claim is unverified. Output is native 2K with support for up to 4K. It is available on Krea's website, through the Krea API, via distribution partners including fal, Together AI, OpenRouter and Replicate, and in ComfyUI through Partner Nodes, at $0.03 per 1K image and $0.06 per 2K image.
