   AI server demand tightens thin fiberglass supply; CCL prices may rise 10–15% from November

   TechNews, citing supply-chain sources, reports that fiberglass cloth and copper clad laminate (CCL) suppliers are preparing price increases of roughly 10–15%, with the earliest effective date in November, though actual changes depend on product specification and supplier. Supply of thin fiberglass cloth grades such as 2116, 1080 and 1078 is described as especially tight, with little short-term relief expected. Rising demand from AI servers, high-speed switches and data centers is cited as driving demand for high-end Low Dk and Low Df fiberglass cloth. The report also says supply-chain surveys show Chinese CCL leader Kingboard has raised prices 12 times this year, with 1080-grade E-glass cloth up about 300% from low to high, claims not confirmed by the company.
